Implementation of Coronavirus Safety Measures

The safety and well-being of our guests and our team is incredibly important to us, now more than ever. It is important that we review our expectations around safety and cleanliness in response to Coronavirus on a continuous basis.

Check-in

  • Any guest with queries prior to their arrival regarding check-in (or any other matter) are welcome to contact us via our app, email or telephone. To meet government guidelines we will endeavour to keep social contact to a minimum.

  • Keys will be sanitised before guests arrive and after check-out.

Hand Hygiene

  • Hand sanitiser will be available upon entry, in each bedroom and at key points within Underleigh House, including the breakfast room.

Social Distancing

  • Guests will be required to maintain social distancing from those who are not members of their booking party.

Breakfast

  • We are operating staggered breakfast times to limit the number of guests in the breakfast room at any one time.

  • All self-service options have been removed until further notice.

  • We ask that you select your choice of items from the breakfast menu via a pre-order sheet.

Housekeeping

  • To reduce contact between guests and staff, we are offering a limited daily in-room housekeeping service. If required, this will be indicated by the guest hanging the provided notice on the door handle outside their room.

  • If this service is not indicated, access to fresh towels, toiletries, milk and items for the hospitality tray can be obtained by simply asking or using the Vamoos App.
  • Guests staying for more than 3 nights will automatically be offered a mid-stay room service and linen change.

Operations

  • We will be operating on reduced availability until further notice. We may not be able to offer your booked and/or preferred room but we will endeavour to do so where possible.

  • Public areas such as our lounge and garden will be available providing social distancing is observed.

  • Room and Local Walks folders, together with board games, will not be available until further notice.

  • Some information regarding walks (and things to do) are being supplied digitally via the Vamoos App.

Guests

  • We are requesting that any guest who has been diagnosed or shown symptoms of Covid-19 within 14 days of their due date of arrival, kindly reschedule their stay or cancel. No charges will be incurred for doing so.

  • Those who show symptoms during their stay will be asked to leave. No charges will be made for any remaining booked nights.

  • We will not be providing masks for guest use, but guests are welcome to bring/use their own if they so wish.

Enhanced Cleaning Routine

  • Thorough and deep cleaning of bedrooms will be carried out after a guest has checked out by staff trained in best practice hygiene rules. Rooms are sprayed thoroughly with Safe2Stay Room Sanitiser, a specially formulated product offering protection and reassurance killing 99.99% of viruses, including coronaviruses, mould and bacteria.

  • All linen will be washed in-house at 60C

  • We will be taking particular care regarding touch points e.g. reception, breakfast and lounge areas, hallways, staircases, doors, door handles, fridges, loo seats & flushes, taps, light switches, kettles, remote controls, waste bins, unit tops, telephones etc.

Check Out

  • Payment will be taken on check-out using a fixed card payment machine. All surfaces engaged in the transaction, together with the customer's card, will be cleaned with a sanitation wipe before and after each use.
  • Guests will be asked to leave their keys in the room when checking out.
  • We would appreciate if the windows could be opened to allow ventilation in the room prior to departure.
